Honor and Appreciation for a Friend of Fairport Harbor Schools!

On Tuesday evening at the Fairport Harbor Village Hall, Mayor Frank Sarosy presided over his final meeting as Mayor.  At it's December board meeting, the Fairport Harbor Board of Education unanimously passed a proclamation of appreciation thanking Mayor Sarosy for his support and commitment to our school district during his tenure as mayor.

On behalf of the Board, School Superintendent Domenic Paolo presented him with a plaque commemorating this occasion. Mr. Paolo publicly thanked the Mayor for his dedication and commitment to the Village and his consistent message that "the schools are the community." He went onto say: "Frank has always been a great asset to our schools. With wisdom and courage, he has been able to strike a unique balance between critique and criticism that has helped us maintain positive momentum through difficult times. While cities and towns around us seem to struggle, we have benefitted from village leadership with a rare combination of discipline, vision, voice and action that prepares all of our residents not only for survival in the present day but also for a prosperous future."

Thank you so much Mr. Sarosy for your support of our schools!
